Biography
Born in s. Vasilyevka in the family of the teacher.
He began studying at the Vinnitsa Pedagogical Institute , majoring in “physics teacher,” in 1963 transferred to the Kiev Polytechnic Institute .
In 1967 graduated from the Radio Engineering Faculty of the Kiev Polytechnic Institute . [one]
1967 - 1985 - worked at the Institute of Electrodynamics, Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR (National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine) . [1] In 1972 He defended his thesis on “Improving the quality of the output voltage of the inverter based on pulse-width modulation”.
From 1985 he headed the laboratory of Autonomous Power Conversion Systems at the Institute of Energy Saving Problems, Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR. The degree of doctor of technical sciences was awarded to the Higher Attestation Commission of the USSR after the presentation and defense of the dissertation in 1989 "Autonomous voltage inverters of modulation type" The title of professor in the field of electrical engineering and power semiconductor devices was awarded in 1992 by the qualification commission of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine.
In 1990 - 1993, Professor of the Department of Industrial Electronics and Electrical Engineering at the Kiev Technological Institute of Light Industry (now KNUTD).
Since 1993, a part-time professor at the Institute of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Telecommunications and Electrical Engineering, Agricultural Academy in the city of Bydgoszcz ( Polish: Akademia Techniczno-Rolnicza w Bydgoszczy ), Poland .
In 1994 - 2012 , a professor elected by the competition at the Institute of Informatics and Electronics of the Zelenogursky University ( Polish. Uniwersytet Zielonogórski ) (formerly Zelenogurskaya Polytechnic) Zielona Gur , Poland . [one]
Since 1996 Member of the Polish Society of Theoretical and Applied Electrical Engineering. Member of the Association of Power Electronics Engineers of Russia, Moscow Power Engineering Institute , Moscow since 1999 .
Scientific Activities
The main works of Edward Nikitovich are devoted to the study and development of the theory , methods of analysis and synthesis of power devices of modulation-type converting equipment with pulse-width and amplitude-pulse modulations, as well as the design , modeling , optimization and use of such converters.
The latest works are devoted to the directions of high-quality conversion of electric energy in autonomous power supply systems containing devices of modulation-type converting equipment.
