Biography and Proceedings
She became known for her adolescent "Diary" ( 1994 ), which she led to Sarajevo in 1991 - 1993 and in which the events of the Bosnian war were reflected. It is often compared to Anne Frank 's Diary.
In 1993, Zlata and her family managed to leave Bosnia to France . In 2001, she graduated from Oxford University with a degree in humanities, and lives in Dublin . Under her editorship and with her preface, New York published a collection of “Muffled Voices: Teen Diaries from World War I to the Iraq War ” ( 2006 ).
Recognition
The Diary was published several times during 1994 alone and then reprinted in English in 1995 , 1998 , 2004 , 2006 . It is translated into French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Norwegian, Finnish, Hungarian, Turkish, Chinese, Korean, entered the school system, in the encyclopedia, anthology and anthology dedicated to the genocide and memory of him.
