Zaraisky

Zaraysky is a rural type village in the Zaraysky district of the Moscow region , as part of the municipality, the rural settlement of Karinsky (until November 29, 2006, was part of the Karinsky rural district ) [2] .

The village, as the Stalin farm, is a subsidiary farm of the NKVD Directorate for the Moscow Region, was formed in 1932, since November 1949 it was called the central estate of the Zaraisky state farm [5] , since 2003 it has been a rural settlement of Zaraisky type; connected by bus with the district center and neighboring settlements [6] . In Zaraysk there are a post office, a children's factory, an outpatient clinic, a shopping center, a canteen, and a library. Letunovskaya high school [5] .

Geography

Zaraysky is located 12 km southeast of Zaraysk , on the watershed of the sources of the right tributaries of the Osetr River: the upper and lower Osetrikov [7] , the height of the village center above sea level is 171 m [6] .
