History
1971 - 1991
In 1971, under the project of the Giprotraktoroselkhozmash design institute in Chuguev, the construction of a fuel equipment plant began [3] , the main products of which were to be components for T-150 tractors manufactured by the Kharkov Tractor Plant. The construction was given the status of the republican shock Komsomol construction of the 9th five-year plan . In 1974, three months ahead of schedule, the first phase of the enterprise was put into operation and the plant produced its first products: nozzles for tractor engines and automatic couplings for fuel pumps [1] .
Together with the enterprise, a factory micro-district was built to accommodate plant workers (residential buildings, a household center, a shop, a post office and a hairdresser) [1] .
January 1, 1985, the company began production of the factory newspaper "Working Honor" [1] .
At the beginning of the 12th five-year plan, the plant mastered the serial production of fuel pumps and nozzles for the engines of the Don-1500 combine [1] .
In the future, in connection with the expansion of the range of manufactured consumer goods at the plant, a design and technological bureau and a specialized store were created [1] .
At the beginning of 1990, the plant’s equipment included automatic lines, aggregate machines, automatic machines, semi-automatic machines, diamond boring machines, ultrasonic washers and Bulat installations for hardening tools; production facilities provided the release of 500 fuel fuel pumps per day. The total number of employees of the plant exceeded six thousand people. The main products of the plant were fuel pumps and nozzle sprays for engines of Kharkov-made tractors and Rostov-made harvesters; also, under the production cooperation program, the plant mastered the production of 13 items of parts for a three-wheeled cargo bike of the Kharkov Bicycle Plant named after G.I. Petrovsky . In addition, the plant produced consumer goods (sets of socket wrenches, garden tools, metal products) [1] .
After 1991
In the early 1990s, the plant was transformed into an open joint stock company.
In August 1997, the plant was included in the list of enterprises of strategic importance for the economy and security of Ukraine [4] .
After the creation of the leasing company Ukragromashinvest in October 1997, in March 1998 a package of 26% of the plant’s shares was transferred to the company [5] .
In 2004, the plant was restructured, during which part of the production capacity was withdrawn from the enterprise and transferred to Dobrobut LLC, and three factory dormitories were transferred to the municipal property of the city [6] .
On September 8, 2004, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to withdraw from the authorized capital of the leasing company Ukragromashinvest blocks of shares in 18 agricultural engineering enterprises (including a 26% stake in Chuguevsky Fuel Equipment Plant OJSC) [7] . The subsidiary Chuguevskaya Fuel Equipment - Motorist, separated from the plant, was declared bankrupt [8] .
In September 2006, the plant mastered the production of fuel pumps for 4-cylinder diesel engines produced by the Minsk Motor Plant [9] .
In 2006 - 2007, the plant introduced heating by infrared systems, which allowed to reduce heating costs [10] .
The plant ended 2007 with a loss of UAH 15.107 million. The economic crisis that began in 2008 complicated the situation of the plant [11] , and on September 26, 2008, at a meeting of shareholders, a decision was made to reorganize Chuguevsky Fuel Equipment Plant OJSC into a limited liability company [12] .
As of October 2014, the plant practically did not function - a library was opened in the administrative building, a significant part of the equipment was sold or turned into scrap metal, the number of workers was reduced to 40 people [11] .
