Ulyandy ( Bashk. Үләнде ) is a lake in the Abzelilovsky district of Bashkortostan .

It is located 3 km east of the village of Severny and 30 km southwest of the outskirts of Magnitogorsk . The eastern shore of the lake is a natural monument (since 1997) [1] (a wetland complex with great biological diversity and environmental significance).

The mirror area is 1.9 km², length - 2 km, average width - 1.9 km.
The lake is closed, fed by precipitation and groundwater. The water is brackish, sodium bicarbonate.
The lake is of tectonic origin, formed in the rocks of the Late Devonian (andesite-basalt porphyrites, basalts, tuffites, sandstones and shales).
The bottom is flat, sandy-silty, the banks are gentle, boggy.
The lake is eutrophic, semi-reclusive. Fish are found in the lake (crucian carp, tench and peled), geese, ducks, waders live, crested black , teal, crackling, etc.
Landscape - steppe, abandoned pasture.
Toponymy
The name comes from the Bashkir word "Үләнде" - grassy, overgrown with grass.
