History
The village of Koshuki is mentioned by N. M. Karamzin in his work “ History of the Russian State ”: “Yermak’s plows passed by Koshukov. Departing from the wrath of the Tatars, Yermak was unable to return to the Tura river, which he went down to Tobolsk, and he had to look for a new way. Climbing along the Tavda River, he realized that he would not be able to go to the path that he got to Tura, and therefore returned back to Tobol where he accepted his last battle. " It was during the search for a way back that Ermak passed the settlement now called Koshuki.
Geography
The village is located 18 km southeast of the city of Tavda , in a lowland surrounded by hills. The Tavda River flows nearby, which is the largest water artery in the Sverdlovsk Region.
Also, two small rivers flow near the village: Bilinka and Desyatkina. Both rivers are tributaries of the Tavda River.
Among the minerals, quartz (white) sand, red clay suitable for making kiln bricks, white clay and blue (healing) clay have been explored. The forest in the area of the village of Koshuki is mixed. Loamy soils.
There are also places with apoka deposits and underground sources with a high silicon content.
The climate is temperate continental with cold winters and warm summers.

The indigenous population of Koshukov: these are Voguls, then self-propelled guns came in their place.
Self-propelled guns were people fleeing corvee from Ukraine, Belarus and central Russia.
During the development of the USSR, distribution specialists came to the village, remaining here for permanent residence.
Economics
The main activity of the population: agriculture (cattle breeding and sowing of feed grain crops).
