Geography
The area is located in the western part of the county of Derbyshire , bordered in the west by the county of Staffordshire , in the north - by the county of South Yorkshire . On its territory is a significant part of the Peak District National Park.

- Darley Dale
- Matlock
- Wirksworth
and over 100 communities ( English civil parish ).
