About the Single

Allo

The Queen

The song “Queen” is dedicated to Pugacheva, a childhood friend. Once they accidentally met on the street and Pugacheva did not immediately recognize her and was amazed: how the first beauty of the yard after years changed not for the better [1] .

Lenka! I wouldn’t want you to know yourself in this song (name changed).
Alla Pugacheva [2]

The song was not in the solo concert repertoire of Pugacheva for long. In the spring of 1987, she performed it at concerts in Dnepropetrovsk , Zaporozhye and Amsterdam [3] .

In 1997, in the author’s program of Vladimir Pozner “ We ”, Alla Pugacheva called the song “Queen” (as well as the song “ Staircase ”) one of the best in her repertoire [4] .
