Biography
He began to engage in struggle under the influence of his uncle Bertil Antonsson . In 1953, he won the Swedish champion title among juniors in both freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling. In 1958, for the first time became the champion of Sweden.
In 1960 at the Olympic Games he performed in the middle weight in freestyle wrestling competitions and won the bronze medal of the games.
