Viktor Vasilievich Popov ( March 10, 1930 , Kharkov ) - production leader, grinder of the Kharkov Aviation Plant of the USSR Ministry of Aviation Industry. Hero of Socialist Labor (1971). Member of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR 9 - 11 convocations. Member of the Audit Commission of the Communist Party of Ukraine (1986-1990).

Biography
Born March 10, 1930 in a working class family in Kharkov. He graduated from high school.
Since 1945 - locksmith of the Kharkov factory "Bolshevik", grinder of the mine surveying tools factory. In 1950-1952 he served in the Soviet army.
Since 1952 - grinder, gear cutter, master, thread grinder, Kharkov Aviation Plant named after Lenin Komsomol.
In 1957 he joined the CPSU.
Production innovator. In his career, he used rationalization methods, as a result of which labor productivity increased 8 times. The first to receive a personal brand at the factory. In 1971 he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor for outstanding labor achievements.
In 1974, a documentary film “A Man of Restless Happiness” was shot about Viktor Popov at the studio of the Kharkov Aviation Plant.
He was elected as a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR of 9-11 convocations.
After retirement, lives in Kharkov
