The Riddersky District is an administrative-territorial unit within the Kazakh ASSR that existed in 1928–1931.

History
The Riddersky district of the Semipalatinsk district with its center in the workers' settlement of Ridder was formed on January 17, 1928 from the Ridder, parts of the Red-October and Tarkhansk volosts of the Ust-Kamenogorsk district of the Semipalatinsk province (approved by the All-Russian Central Executive Committee on September 3, 1928) [1] . It consists of 10 village councils: Aleksandrovsky, Butakovsky, Zaporizhia-Ubovsky, Zimovsky, Orlovsky, Pikhtovsky, Poperechensky, Riddersky, Strezhensky, Cheremshansky [2] .
On December 17, 1930, on the basis of a resolution of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee dated July 23, 1930, the district division in the Kazakh Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic was liquidated, the Riddersky district passed directly into republican subordination.
By the Decree of the Presidium of the CEC of the Kazakh ASSR of September 11, 1931, the Glubokovsky and Chernogorsky village councils were transferred to the Ust-Kamenogorsk district [3] .
On December 27, 1931, the Riddersky district was liquidated (approved by the CEC of the Kazakh ASSR on January 1, 1932) [4] , Ridder was divided into an independent administrative-territorial unit, the rest of the district is distributed between the Ust-Kamenogorsk and Shemonaikhinsky districts [5] .
