Biography
Until 1941, the chief engineer of the plant named after V.I. Lenin in Voronezh .
Since 1946, an engineer of the Ministry of Engineering and Instrumentation of the USSR, Ministry of Engineering of the USSR.
A group of engineers and designers under his leadership developed and introduced new screw presses into the oil industry, which made it possible to carry out the pressing of seeds in a continuous way. The oil yield increased by 25%. In these presses, grain was preheated and then the oil was sequentially pressed first with a vertical and then with a horizontal screw, with an increase in pressure up to 700 atmospheres.
In 1955-1971, the director of the All-Union Research and Experimental Design Institute of Food Engineering (VNIEKIPRODMASH) ( Moscow ).
He was married to Natalia Tikhonovna Popova, the daughter of Krikunov (Filippova) Galina Aleksandrovna, Krikunova Irina Aleksandrovna.
