Biography
Born on April 28, 1910 in the city of Cherepovets , Novgorod Province [1] .
In 1934 he led the first oil search expedition in Western Siberia (on the Bolshoy Yugan River ).
In 1934-1935 - Director of the Central Research Laboratory of the Kuibyshev Oil Plant. In 1935–1936, he was head of the Ob-Irtysh complex expedition of the Vostokneft trust.
Member of the CPSU since 1940.
In 1936–1946 - director of VNIGRI and managing director of the Soyuzburgaz trust.
Since 1947, the manager of the trust Montgneft. Later - Head of the Geological Department of the Ministry of Gas Industry.
Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences , author of more than 200 scientific papers on the geology of oil and gas .
Author of the book "The geological structure of the north-western part of the West Siberian Lowland and its oil-bearing capacity" (1946).
Suddenly died on April 23, 1973.
Awards and prizes
- 1945 - Medal "For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945."
- 1947 - Order of the Patriotic War, II degree
- 1949 - Stalin Prize II degree, for the discovery and exploration of gas and oil fields (Archedinskoe gas field in the Lower Volga region).
- 1966 - Order of the Red Banner of Labor .
