History
The village of Porozhek is mentioned on the map of Novgorod governorship of 1792 by A. M. Wilbrecht [2] .
POROZHEK - a village, belongs to the actual state counselor Bolotnikova with the daughters of the inhabitants under revision: 8 m., 4 w. P.;
To midshipman Tyrtov of inhabitants on audit: 5 m. P., 4 f. P.;
Free cultivators: 13 m. P., 10 g. P.; (1838) [3]
According to the map of F. F. Schubert in 1844, the village was called Powders [4] .
PORASHEK - the village of the lords Bolotnikovs, on a country road, the number of yards - 7, the number of souls - 27 m. (1856) [5]
According to the Xth revision of 1857, the village consisted of three parts:
1st part: number of inhabitants - 4 m. P., 3 g. P.
2nd part: number of inhabitants - 8 m. P., 13 g. P.
3rd part: number of inhabitants - 16 m. P., 21 g. p. [6]
POROZHEK - the treasury village on the Oredezh River, the number of yards - 12, the number of inhabitants: 30 m. P.; Orthodox chapel. (1862) [7]
According to the inventory of the Gleb society of the Gleb volost in 1882, the village of Porozhek consisted of three parts:
1) the former estate of Bushen, houses - 6, allotment areas - 8, families - 3, number of inhabitants - 14 m., 10 w. P.; the category of peasants is the owners.
2) the former Tyrkov estate, houses - 5, allotment areas - 8, families - 3, number of inhabitants - 15 m., 10 w. P.; the category of peasants - small-scale owners settled on the ground.
3) houses - 19, shower plots - no, families - 10, number of inhabitants - 27 m., 30 g. P.; the category of peasants - settled on their own land. [6] .
In the XIX - early XX centuries, the village administratively belonged to the Glebovsky volost of the 1st camp of the Luga district of the St. Petersburg province .
In 1900, according to the “Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province”, the lands of the Porozhek estate belonged to: peasant Ivan Dementiev - 276 tithes , the Society of Peasants of the village of Porozhek - 823 tithes and 26 householders of the village of Porozhek - 234 tithes [8] .
According to the military topographic map of the Petrograd and Novgorod provinces of the 1915 edition, the village was called Poroshki and consisted of 13 peasant households [9] .
In 1927, the population of the village was 272 people [10] .
According to 1933, it was already the village of Porozhki , it was the administrative center of the Porozhsky village council of the Krasnogvardeisky district , which included 5 settlements: the villages of Valyakki, Oleshko, Savkino, Khaimino and the village of Porozhki , with a total population of 518 people [11] .
The village was liberated from Nazi occupation on January 30, 1944.
In 1965, the population of the village was 90 people [10] .
According to the data of 1966, 1973 and 1990, the village of Porozhek was part of the Minsk Village Council [12] [13] [14] .
In 1997, 17 people lived in the village, the village was part of the Minsk Village Council, in 2002 - 46 people (Russians - 94%), in 2007 - 28 [15] [16] [17] .
Geography
The village is located in the southeastern part of the district on the highway 41K-105 ( Mina - Novinka ).
The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is the urban-type village of Vyritsa , 27 km [17] .
The distance to the nearest railway station Sludice is 22 km [12] .
The village is located on the left bank of the Oredezh River .
