Dmitry Konstantinovich Ganenko (born in 1988 , Leningrad , RSFSR , USSR ) is a Russian concertmaster [2] , soloist of the Mariinsky Theater Symphony Orchestra in St. Petersburg , cellist , laureate of international competitions.

Biography
He started playing the cello from the age of seven. In 2003 he graduated with honors from the Children's Music School No. 11 of the Vasileostrovsky District of St. Petersburg (class of N. E. Zhemoldinova) [3] . In 2006 he graduated with honors from the Secondary Special Music School at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov . From 2006 to 2011 he studied at the St. Petersburg Conservatory named after N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov in the class of A. P. Nikitin. From 2010 to 2012 he studied at the Higher School of Music. H. Eisler in Berlin under the leadership of Trolls Swane.
For many years he was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation , a scholarship holder of the Philharmonic Society of St. Petersburg (1998-2005) [4] and the international program “New Names” .
He took part in workshops of People's Artist of the USSR Natalia Shakhovskaya , People's Artist of the Russian Federation Sergey Roldugin , Ko Iwasaki, Hatto Bayerle, Trolls Svane, Jens Peter Mainz and Leonid Gorokhov.
He participated in many international festivals (including the festival "New Names", the competition named after Tchaikovsky and others). He won the first four prizes at international competitions.
He is a soloist at the Mariinsky Theater Symphony Orchestra, gives solo concerts and performs as part of chamber ensembles.
Participated in the festival "European concerts in St. Petersburg", held December 10-12, 2009, performed in the Great Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic named after D. D. Shostakovich accompanied by the academic symphony orchestra [5] .
In 2010, he performed in Prague at a gala concert of rising St. Petersburg stars [6] . In 2014, he performed in Russia and China as part of the Russian-Chinese youth orchestra conducted by V. Gergiev [7] . In June 2015, he gave a recital at the Concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theater as part of the Stars of the White Nights festival. Participated in the Moscow Easter Festival in 2015 [8] . On June 8, 2015 he soloed at a concert of the Russian-German Academy of Music orchestra conducted by Valery Gergiev at Konzerthaus on the Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin [9] .
As part of the chamber orchestra, “Singolo orchestra” performed at various venues, including the D. D. Shostakovich St. Petersburg Philharmonic [1] [10] [11] .
He plays the cello by the Italian master Giuseppe Bargelli, provided by the Mariinsky Theater .
