History

In 1702, on the banks of the Oredezh River, in front of the village, a wooden church was built in the name of St. Great Martyr George the Victorious .

In 1827, a dilapidated wooden church was dismantled, then the stone St. George Church was consecrated [2] .

NESTERKOVO - the village belongs to the Oranienbaum Palace Board, the number of inhabitants under the audit: 86 metro stations, 74 railways. p. (1838) [3]

In the explanatory text to the ethnographic map of the St. Petersburg province of P. I. Köppen in 1849, it is recorded as the village of Nesterkowa ( Nesterkova ) and the number of its inhabitants for 1848 is indicated: Izhora - 107 m., 99 w. n., a total of 206 people [4] .

According to the 1882 farmstead inventory:

NESTERKOVO - village of the Tarasinsky society of the Glebovsky volost
84 houses, 88 shower stalls, 45 families, 45 residents, 105 m. P.; category of peasants - owners [6]

A compilation of the Central Statistical Committee described the village as follows:

NESTERKOVA - the former village of the specific Glebovsky volost near the Oredezh river, 37 yards, 207 residents; rural municipality (76 miles to the county town), chapel, school. In ½ versts - the Orthodox Church. (1885) [8] .

In the XIX - early XX centuries, the village administratively belonged to the Glebovsky volost of the 1st camp of the Luga district of the St. Petersburg province.

According to the military topographic map of the Petrograd and Novgorod provinces of the 1915 edition, the village was called Nesterova and consisted of 25 peasant households . Next to it was the "Pogost Georgievsky" [9] .

In 1928, the population of the village was 188 people [10] .

The church was closed in 1930. The building was destroyed during the war [2] .

According to 1933, the village was called Nesterkovo and was the administrative center of the Tarasinsky Village Council of the Oredezhsky District , which included 10 settlements: the villages of Zarechye, Nesterkovo , Tarasino , the village of Nevezhnitsa, and the Abramovo-Kam farm. (so in AI) , Borets, Bugorki, Glebovo, Dubki, Klin, with a total population of 1347 people [11] .

According to data from 1936, the Tarasinsky Village Council with its center in the village of Nesterkovo included 6 settlements, 291 households and 5 collective farms [12] .

According to the topographic map of 1937, the village consisted of 45 yards.

From August 1, 1941 to January 31, 1944 she was in occupation.

In 1965, the population of the village was 85 people [10] .

According to the data of 1966, 1973 and 1990, the village of Nesterkovo was part of the Novinsky Village Council of the Gatchinsky District [13] [14] [15] .

In 1997, 12 people lived in the village, in 2002 - 18 people (Russians - 83%), in 2007 - 4 [16] [17] [18] .

Geography

The village is located in the south-eastern part of the district on the highway 41K-477 (access to the village of Nesterkovo).

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is the urban-type village of Vyritsa , 36 km [18] .

The distance to the nearest railway station Novinka is 12 km [13] .

The village is located on the right bank of the Oredezh River , east of the Novinka station.
