The Vertlinsky rural district is the abolished administrative-territorial unit that existed on the territory of the Solnechnogorsk district of the Moscow region in 1994-2006.

The Vertlinsky Village Council was formed in the first years of Soviet power. According to 1920, he was part of the Vertlinsky volost of the Klinsky district of the Moscow province [1] .
In 1926, the Vertlinsky s / s included the village of Vertlino , the villages of Zagorye and Osipovo , as well as 3 farms and a gatehouse [2] .
In 1929, the Vertlinsky s / s was assigned to the Solnechnogorsk district of the Moscow district of the Moscow region.
On January 4, 1952, the village of Novoye was transferred from Merzlovsky s / s to Vertlinsky.
On June 14, 1954, the Merzlovsky s / s was attached to the Vertlinsky s / s.
On December 7, 1957, the Solnechnogorsk district was abolished and the Vertlinsky s / s entered the Khimki district .
On August 18, 1960, the Khimki district was abolished, and the Vertlinsky s / s was transferred to the recreated Solnechnogorsk district.
On February 1, 1963, the Solnechnogorsk district was abolished and the Vertlinsky s / s entered the Solnechnogorsk rural area . On January 11, 1965, the Vertlinsky s / s was returned to the restored Solnechnogorsk district.
On November 28, 1967, the villages of Bedovo , Vorobyovo , Merzlovo , Nosovo, Novy Stan and the village of the hydroelectric power station were transferred from the Vertlinsky s / s to Tarakanovsky .
On December 2, 1976, the Tarakanovsky s / s was attached to the Vertlinsky s / s.
On June 23, 1988 in the Vertlinsky village the village of Nosovo was abolished.
On February 3, 1994, the Vertlinsky s / s was transformed into the Vertlinsky rural district .
On May 17, 2004, the village of the Rest House and Creativity-1 was transferred from the Vertlinsky s / o to the city limits of Solnechnogorsk [3] .
During the municipal reform of 2004-2005, the Vertlin Rural District ceased to exist as a municipal unit. At the same time, its settlements were transferred partly to the urban settlement of Solnechnogorsk , and partly to the rural settlement of Smirnovskoye [4] .
On November 29, 2006, the Vertlinsky rural district was excluded from the accounting data of the administrative-territorial and territorial units of the Moscow region [5] .
