Content

Story

The film is based on real events. The film tells about a German young couple, a stewardess and a photographer [4] , who find themselves in the epicenter of a military coup in Chile in 1973 . Shows the events taking place in the colony of Dignidad - a German settlement in Chile, founded in 1961 by the head of the German sect Paul Schaefer and became a political prison used by the secret police of Chile to torture and kill people disliked by the Pinochet regime .

Shooting

The main shooting began on October 2, 2014 in Luxembourg [6] . Filming continued until the end of October, and then production moved to Germany for further filming in Munich and Berlin . Filming also took place in Buenos Aires until the beginning of 2015 [5] .

Criticism

On the Rotten Tomatoes website , the film has a rating of 26% based on 43 reviews with an average score of 4.2 out of 10 [7] . On the Metacritic website , the film has a rating of 33 out of 100 based on 15 critics' reviews, which corresponds to the status of “generally unfavorable reviews” [8] .
