Criticism

In reality, all the journalists who worked on NTV were asked to stay on NTV. Nobody drove them out, they waited a long time when they would be kicked out. They left on their own, voluntarily. Many who screamed the loudest than all left to work on those very hated state channels, like Svetlana Sorokina.

- Chairman of the Board of Directors of NTV Alfred Koch [50]

Sorokina herself explains such creative searches by the fact that after the defeat of the “old” NTV [51] , “I had to wander through the channels in search of a better share” [52] .

Konstantin Ernst spoke so about Sorokina and her talk show “ Basic Instinct ”: “ We had disputes about the development of the program. I tried to orient the program towards sociality, and Svetlana - such showdowns inside the Garden Ring " [53] ..." She [Sorokina] has no systematic vision of the world ... She had these stereotypes clogged during perestroika, like half of the employees of Echo of Moscow “ ” [54] .
