Schirrhein ( fr. Schirrhein ) is a commune in northeastern France in the Grand Est region [1] (formerly Alsace - Champagne - Ardennes - Lorraine ), Lower Rhine department , Agno-Wisambur county , Bischwiller canton [2] . Until March 2015, the commune of the canton Bishwiller was administratively part of the Agno district.

Economy
In 2010, out of 1,469 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years old), 1,151 were economically active , 318 were inactive (an activity indicator of 78.4%, in 1999 - 74.5%). Of the 1,151 active able-bodied residents, 1,082 people (600 men and 482 women) worked, 69 were unemployed (31 men and 38 women). Among 318 able-bodied inactive citizens, 103 were pupils or students , 106 were pensioners , and another 109 were inactive for other reasons [9] [10] .
