Biography

Born in the city of Arzamas.

In 1926 he graduated from the Leningrad Mining Institute.

Achievement list:

  • 1931—1934 senior geologist of the South Ural geological administration.
  • 1934-1941 and 1944-1946 Art. Researcher All-Union n.-i. Geological Institute.
  • 1941-1943 service in the Army. War veteran, awarded the Order of the Red Star .
  • 1946-1957 - Art. Geologist of the Ukrainian Geological Administration.
  • 1957-1960 - in the Geological Administration of the central regions (engaged in research KMA).

From 1960, he worked at the Ukrainian Research Geological Prospecting Institute (Lviv), the Institute of Mineral Resources, Mingeo USSR (Simferopol), in the trust “Kievgeology”.

Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences (1965).

Lenin Prize in 1959 - for participation in the discovery and exploration of rich iron ore deposits.

USSR State Prize in 1970 for the discovery and exploration of the South-Belozersk and Pereverzevsk deposits of high-grade rich iron ore in the Zaporozhye region (1956-1968)

Died March 30, 1978 in Kiev.

  • Grigori Nikolaevich Dobrokhotov - Professor, Laureate of the USSR State Prize

  • Zigazino-Komarovsky and Inzersky iron ore regions of Bashkiria. Ufa, 1940;
  • Geology of iron-siliceous formations of Ukraine. K., 1959;
  • Geology and iron ore deposits of the Kremenchug district. Moscow, 1964;
  • Iron ore complexes of the early Precambrian of the Russian platform (origin, formation types, age correlation) // Geology, formation analysis, petrology and metallogenic specialization of the crystalline formations of the Russian platform. Voronezh, 1972.
