Biography
He was born on December 15, 1901 in the village of Kunary (Nevyansk plant) of the Ayatsky volost of the Yekaterinburg district of the Perm province.
He served in the Red Army since August 1919. Through the Yekaterinburg district military registration and enlistment office he was sent to the Kazan machine-gun courses, upon arrival at which he was immediately sent to the Main Directorate of Universities, from where he was sent to military-gas technical courses in Moscow, then renamed the military chemical courses of the Red Army command staff. After graduating from these courses in July 1921, he was appointed deputy chief of chemical defense of the 57th Rifle Division of the Ural Military District .
In January 1923, N.V. Eremin was sent to the Higher Military Chemical School of the Red Army commanding staff, after which in August 1924 he returned to the division and was appointed head of the chemical service of the 169th Perm Rifle Regiment. Since September 1925 he was again appointed head of the chemical service of the 57th Ural Rifle Division. Since January 1926 he was the head of the chemical service of the 57th artillery regiment in the city of Perm . In July 1926 he was transferred to the same position in the 8th Cavalry Division of the Volga Military District in Orenburg . From November 1929 to June 1930, Eremin was at the chemical KUKS RKKA in Moscow, after which he was appointed head of the chemical service of the 13th Rifle Corps in Sverdlovsk. From September 1930 to February 1931 he was studying in Moscow at the KUVNAS of the Red Army, after which he returned to his previous position. In April 1932, he was appointed assistant chief for combat training of the Office of Chemical Forces of the Belarusian Military District. World War II
Member of the Great Patriotic War from the very beginning. His division as part of the 6th Rifle Corps of the 6th Army of the South-Western Front participated in the battle in the Rava-Russian direction. From July 15 to August 29, 1941, Colonel N.V. Eremin served as chief of staff of the 6th Rifle Corps, which conducted military operations in the Belotserkovsky direction. In August of the same year he was transferred as deputy chief of staff - chief of the operational department of the headquarters of the 40th Army of the Southwestern Front. From February 6 to March 13, 1942, he temporarily served as chief of staff of the army. Since April, the army was part of the Bryansk Front. Since May of the same year, N.V. Yeremin, the temporary acting deputy chief of staff - chief of the operational department of the headquarters of the Bryansk Front. In June, he was appointed chief of staff of the 6th Reserve Army of the Voronezh Front, and at the end of August he was transferred to the post of chief of staff of the 6th Stalin Volunteer Rifle Corps of the Siberians, who was on the formation in the Volga Military District in the Saratov region. In November 1942, the corps entered the 41st Army of the Kalinin Front, and in March 1943, its formations and units participated in the Rzhev-Vyazemsky offensive operation. For the successful completion of command assignments on April 19, 1943, the corps was transformed into the 19th Guards Rifle . In June 1943, Colonel N.V. Eremin was appointed chief of staff of the 63rd Army of the Bryansk Front. In September of the same year he was placed at the disposal of the Main Directorate of Personnel, then sent as a senior lecturer at the Higher Military Academy named after K.E. Voroshilova. In October 1944, being in the rank of major general , he served as commander of the 4th Guards Airborne Division , which until the end of the war conducted military operations as part of the 104th Rifle Corps of the 2nd Ukrainian Front.
After the war
After the war ended, in July 1945, the division was renamed the 111th Guards Rifle Division as part of the 4th Guards Army of the Central Group of Forces . Since May 1946, Nikolai Vladimirovich Eremin - Head of the Department of Military Disciplines of the Higher Courses for Improving the Political Staff of the Red Army. In January 1953 he was discharged to the reserve due to illness. He died on January 20, 1976 in Moscow.
