The Hits / The B-Sides is a compilation album (box set) of the American singer Prince , released on September 10, 1993 via Paisley Park and Warner Bros. The disc received positive reviews from music critics and online publications. The Hits / The B-Sides reached sixth place on the Top R & B / Hip-Hop Albums (Billboard) soul chart, fourth on the UK Albums chart, and entered the top twenty on the Billboard 200 American chart [4] .

After the death of the singer in April 2016, the album re-entered the US chart with a circulation of 40,000 equivalent units (24,000 true sales) and immediately at position No. 6 [8] , and two more albums entered the top ten: No. 1 - The Very Best of Prince and No. 2, Purple Rain [9] .
