Sessenheim ( fr. Sessenheim ) is a commune in the north-east of France in the Grand Est region [1] (former Alsace - Champagne - Ardennes - Lorraine ), department of the Lower Rhine , district of Agno-Wisambour , canton of Bishwiller [2] . Until March 2015, the commune as part of the canton of Bishwiller was administratively part of Agno County.

Economics
In 2010, out of 1445 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years old), 1134 were economically active , 311 inactive (activity indicator 78.5%, in 1999 - 74.6%). Out of 1,134 active able-bodied residents, 1,044 people worked (555 men and 489 women), 90 were unemployed (40 men and 50 women). Among 311 able-bodied inactive citizens, 91 were pupils or students , 114 - pensioners , and another 106 - were inactive due to other reasons [9] [10] .
