Turner, Brad

Turner was born in Bayfield, Ontario, Canada, on June 22. He graduated with honors from the television arts program at H.B. Beale High School in London, Ontario .

In all, he made thirteen films and more than two hundred episodes of television. He was nominated six times for the Gemini Award for Directing, and in 2004 won the Award for his work on the CBC mini-series Live Cargo. He also won two Directors of the Directors Guild of Canada for the same production. In 2005, Live Cargo also received the Peabody Award. Turner also won the Manitoba Film Award for Best Television Film Director and was nominated for the Cable Ace Award for Best Director.

Brad also has a love for art and owns the Turner Gallery, which sells and promotes the lives of Canadian artists. The gallery is located in his hometown of Bayfield, Ontario.

In the fifth season of the series “ 24 Hours, ” he became one of the main directors of the show, having shot half the season with John Cassar . He started as a producer for the season and a super-producer in the sixth season , and a co-executive producer in the seventh season . In the eighth and final season, he was promoted to executive producer, also removing the series finale. He won an Emmy Award in 2006 as part of the show's production team. ^[one]
