Jinfengopteryx is a genus of theropod dinosaurs from the family of troodontids , who lived in the early Cretaceous period and lived on the territory of modern China . Belongs to the treasure of maniaptors .

Jinfengopteryx is known for the holotype CAGS-IG-04-0801. The remains preserved many prints of feathers, but on the leg bones there were no feathers of feathers that were found in other troodontids, for example, anchornis . Among the residues, seeds were found [1] , which indicates that it could be herbivorous [2] .
