Club

In 2005, Bismarck made his debut in professional football in the team of Santacrusenia.

In 2007, after the departure of “Santacruseni” from the top football division of Costa Rica, the defender moved to “San Carlos”, having spent one season in which he signed a contract with “ Herediano ”.

The club from Heredia Acosta spent three seasons. August 17, 2009 marked the first goal scored [1] .

In the summer of 2011, Bismarck moved to Belen. He spent the first match in the new club on August 1 and was marked by a goal scored [2] .

On January 26, 2013, the defender signed a contract with the Norwegian club " Start " [3] . Acosta played his first game in Europe on March 17, 2013 against Honefoss [4] . On August 11, 2013 Bismarck marked the first goal scored [5] .

After spending 52 matches in the championship over two seasons and scoring 5 goals, Acosta moved to Brann , who played in Adekkolig [6] . In the 2015 season, the Bergen team was able to reach Tippeligu . Acosta made a tangible contribution to this success by playing in 28 matches and scoring 1 goal.

On October 9, 2010, Bismarck made his debut as part of the Costa Rica national team , starting in a starting lineup for a friendly match with the Peruvian national team . During the break, the defender was replaced, having only a warning [7] .
