Biography
Ryan was born in the city of New Castle ( Delaware ), in the family of Richard and Susan Phillippe [1] . His ancestors were mostly of English as well as German and French origin. In his childhood he was fond of basketball and football. Has a black taekwondo belt. After appearing in the series “ One Life to Live, ” he became famous in the late 1990s, starring in teen-oriented films such as “ I Know What You Did Last Summer ,” “ Cruel Intentions, ” and " Studio 54 ". Phillipp's more recent roles include Oscar-winning films Gosford Park and Clash .
In 2007, he played a major role in the movie , the plot of which is based on the true story of FBI employee , who exposed his boss, Robert Hanssen , a spy for the Soviet Union and Russia , selling secret information.
Personal life
From 1999 to 2008, Phillippus was married to actress Reese Witherspoon , who became the mother of his daughter Ava Elizabeth and son Deacon Reese. On July 1, 2011, actress Alexis Knapp (born 1989) gave birth to a daughter, Kay, from Ryan, with whom she had already broken up at the time of the birth of the child.
