Biography
He began learning to play the piano with 6 years. Engaged in the Ataturk Lyceum in Ankara. In 1941, on the recommendation of Ulvi Jemal, Erkin entered the Ankara Conservatory , where he studied with Erkin (piano) and Nejil Kazym Akses (composition). In 1952-1954 he worked in the conservatory as an assistant at the department of composition and as an accompanist in the ballet department. In 1954-1959 he improved in Munich for a scholarship of the Ministry of National Education from Karl Amadeus Hartmann , Karl Orff and . Since 1959 he was the conductor, and in 1974-1977 - the general director of the Ankara State Opera. He was buried at the memorial cemetery in Ankara ( tour. Karşıyaka Mezarlığı ).
