Dengsheim ( Fr. Dingsheim ) is a commune in the north-east of France in the Grand Est region [1] (former Alsace - Champagne - Ardennes - Lorraine ), department of the Lower Rhine , Saverne district, Buchsville canton [2] . Until March 2015, the commune was administratively a part of the abolished canton of Trütershersheim ( Strasbourg-Campan district).

Economics
In 2010, out of 791 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years old), 583 were economically active , 208 inactive (activity indicator 73.7%, in 1999 - 69.7%). Of the 583 active able-bodied residents, 549 people worked (286 men and 263 women), 34 were unemployed (18 men and 16 women). Among 208 able-bodied inactive citizens, 113 were pupils or students , 72 were pensioners , and another 23 were inactive due to other reasons [9] [10] .
