Alfred Ehrhardt Post ( German: Alfred Ehrhardt Post ; September 23, 1881 , Cottbus - August 1, 1947 , Berlin ) is a German chess player and functionary.

From 1911 until the end of World War II, he was president of the Berlin Chess Society. During the 1914 Congress of the German Chess Union in Mannheim, he opposed the creation of an international chess organization and supported the statement to restrict foreign players in the tournament of masters. In 1920, in Berlin, he tried to become president of the German Chess Union, but lost the election, and at the end of 1922 left the post of second chairman after further disagreements. In 1933, after the creation of the Chess Federation of Great Germany, Erhardt Post became deputy federal manager Otto Zander , among his duties was the Gleichsaltung of chess organizations and the exclusion of members of Jewish origin from them.
