Biography

In 1976 she graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of the Belarusian State University [1] .

Since 1977 - correspondent-organizer of the Vitebsk regional radio. Since 1982 - editor of the Vitebsk regional radio. Since 1988 - editor of the Vitebsk regional television. Since September 1997 - head of the information and analytical section of the Y. Kolas Theater.

Since 2001, she worked at the Department of General History and World Culture of Vitebsk State University named after P. M. Masherov ; in 2001-2008 - associate professor. In 2007 she defended her thesis for the degree of Doctor of Arts on the topic "Artistic means of organizing a chronotope of a theatrical work." In 2010 he was awarded the academic title of professor . At present - professor of the Department of General History and World Culture.

He teaches disciplines of cultural and art history (“Theory and History of Culture”, “General History of Arts”), directs the research practice of students; Scientific supervisor of theses and master's theses. Prepared 6 winners of the Republican contest of scientific works of students of Belarusian universities [1] .

Member of the dissertation council of the Center for the Study of Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus [1] .

Editor-in-chief of the scientific and practical journal "Art and Culture". Founder and permanent editor-in-chief of the almanac Malevich. Classic avant-garde. Vitebsk ”(since 1996) [1] .

Member of the expert councils of international theater festivals (Belarus, Russia, Moldova) [1] .

Since 1973 she has been engaged in theatrical criticism. In 1994, she began to implement projects related to the Russian avant-garde [2] .

The author of more than 500 scientific and creative publications, including 13 monographs [1] . The author of the first " Encyclopedia of Russian Avant-Garde " (Minsk, 2003) [2] .

Scientific activity

Research interests: theatrical art of Belarus, theater theory, the history of fine art, the Vitebsk art school, the work of Kazimir Malevich and the Russian avant-garde [1] .
