Player Career

He began his professional career in 1984 at Neftekhimik from Burgas . In 1987 he moved to Chernomorets from the same city. From 1990 to 1992, he “defended colors” for the Levski club in the capital . He spent the next 10 years of his career playing for the Spanish Real Valladolid ; German " Uerdingen 05 "; Turkish “ Besiktas ”, “ Adanaspor ”, “ Vanspor ”, “ Genclerbirligi ” and for the Bulgarian “Neftekhimik”, “ Lokomotiv ”, “Chernomorets” and “ Nafteks ”. In the last Zlatko ended his career as a football player.

Team

The debut for the national team of Bulgaria took place on September 26, 1990 in a friendly match against the national team of Sweden (0: 2). He was included in the national team for the 1994 World Cup in the United States , the 1996 European Championship in England and the 1998 World Cup in France [1] . In total, Zlatko spent 79 matches for the national team and scored 4 goals.
