Born on May 6, 1930 in a peasant family in the village of Izabelovka (today - the village of Zhabelevka, Vinnitsa region, Vinnitsa region ). In 1931, his parents moved to Konstantinovka, Stalin Region. He graduated from the FZO school, after which he worked as a turner at the Frunze plant in Konstantinovka. After military service in the army since 1956 he worked at the Autoglass factory. Appointed Brigadier of grinders.

In 1981 he was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor for outstanding labor achievements.

After retiring, lives in Konstantinovka.
