Club career
Bekim Balyai began his career as a football player in the Albanian team “ Vlazniya ”. Already at the age of 17, Balyai made his debut at the highest level, having replaced his team in the away match against FC Beselidya ( Lying ) on May 17, 2008 [4] . In the 2009/10 season, Balyai became the player of the main team of Vlaznia. In April 2010, along with other young Albanian footballer Odis Roshi, he was on a viewing in the French PSG , which ended unsuccessfully for both. On June 17, 2010 Balyai signed a 4-year contract with the Turkish club Genclerbirligi . In the Turkish Super League, he appeared in only one match, coming on as a substitute in the 90th minute in a away victory match against Galatasaray [5] . At the beginning of 2011, Balyai received two contract proposals from the Albanian clubs Vlaznia and Tirana . On January 20, he signed a two-year agreement with Tirana , according to which he received € 70,000 per season, in contrast to the € 50,000 offered by Vlazniya. On August 18 of that year, Balyai scored the only and winning goal in the 2011 Super Bowl of Albania . In 2016, he joined Akhmat FC. The player will officially leave the club Akhmat at the end of the season 2018/2019, the contract will not be extended. [6]
Team Career
Bekim Balyai held a number of matches for the youth and youth teams of Albania. On February 17, 2010, he made his debut for the main national team in the match against the national team of Kosovo , in which he also scored his first goal for Albania. The ball Balya in the away match against the Portuguese national team brought his team a sensational victory.
