Thorium selenide forms crystals of cubic syngony , space group F m 3 m , cell parameters a = 0.5872 nm , Z = 4 , structure like sodium chloride NaCl [1] [2] .
The compound has a homogeneity region of 48.7 ÷ 52.4 at.% Selenium and melts with an open maximum at a temperature of 1880 ° C.
