Biography
He was born on November 3, 1931 in the family of a hereditary fisherman in the village of Shirokaya Balka (now in the city of Nikolaev). He graduated from a seven-year school, after which he studied at the Nikolaev vocational school, which he graduated in 1948.
From 1948 to 1951, he was a 5th category turner in the main mechanical workshop No. 13 of the Marty Nikolaev Shipbuilding Plant. In 1951-1955 he served in the Northern Fleet.
From 1955 to 1974 - a turner of the Nosenko Nikolaev Shipbuilding Plant (today - the Black Sea Shipbuilding Plant). Got the 6th category.
Since 1964 he worked at the Skoda lathe, where he processed metal shafts up to 48 tons. In 1963 he received secondary education, having graduated from the evening school of working youth at the age of 32. In 1967 he joined the Communist Party.
In January 1974 he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor "for outstanding successes in fulfilling and overfulfilling the plans of 1973 and the socialist commitments made . " In the same year he was appointed foreman of turners and in 1975 - foreman of the integrated team of machine operators of the Black Sea Shipbuilding Plant. He had his own brand. He led the team until retirement.
He was elected a delegate to the XXVI Congress of the CPSU , a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR (1980, 1985) and a member of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR.
After retirement, lives in Nikolaev.
