Biography
He graduated from high school in the village of Oshta . After serving in the Northern Fleet at the naval base in Gremikha, in 1971-1975 he worked at the construction of the Kama Automobile Plant as a mechanic and excavator.
He entered the Literary Institute, having studied for one year, returned to his seriously ill mother in Zapan, worked at the timber industry farm.
The first story was published in 1979 in the journal Sever .
After moving to Petrozavodsk in 1984, he graduated in absentia from the philological faculty of the Karelian Pedagogical Institute , worked as a puncher at the Onega Tractor Plant , and correspondent of the regional newspaper “Prionezhie”.
He was admitted to the Union of Writers of Russia in 1998.
