The Verkhnetobolskoye Reservoir ( Kaz.Zhokarғy Tobol bөgenі ) is a reservoir on the Tobol River in Kazakhstan in the Denisovsky District of the Kostanay Region . Put into operation in 1977.

The reservoir area is 87.4 km², volume is 816.6 million m³, length is 40 km, width is 7.5 km, average depth is 6.3 m, total coastline length is 120 km, and the catchment area is 23 thousand. km².
From the south the Kotyubok River flows . It forms a single cascade together with the Karatomarsky and Amangeldy reservoirs. The water of the reservoir is mainly used for the technical needs of the Lisakovsk GOK [1] .
