Zhangjiagan ( Chinese: 张家р , Pinyin : Zhāngjiāgǎng , literally: “the port of the Zhang family”) is a city county of Suzhou City District, Jiangsu Province ( PRC ).

History
In 1961, at the junction of Jiangin and Changshu counties, Shazhou County (沙洲 县) was formed, which became part of the Suzhou Special District (苏州 专区). In 1970, the Suzhou Special District was renamed Suzhou County (苏州 地区). In 1983, the city of Suzhou and Suzhou County were disbanded, and the city district of Suzhou was formed. In 1986, Shazhou County was transformed into Zhangjiang County.
