Biography
Ayse was born around 1607 in Istanbul. Father Ayshe was a granddaughter of Vizier Perteva Pasha [2] , whose wife Ayya-Khatun was a former concubine of sehzade Mehmed and mother of Hyumash-Sultan [3] . The marriage between Osman II and Aishe was concluded in January 1620. After the murder of her husband, Aishe remained in the Sultan's palace; The last entry, in which Aishe appears, was entered into harem documents in 1640 [4] . Aishe was buried along with other relatives in the cemetery in Eyüp [5] .
