Deltatheridium (lat.) - a genus of extinct Mesozoic mammals of the family Deltatheridiidae (order Deltatheroida ). Inhabited in the Late Cretaceous on the territory of modern Mongolia . They existed about 80 million years ago [1] and resembled modern shrews , but belonged to marsupial mammals , and not to insectivores.
