Career
Club career
Conrad started playing football at the Abersee children's team. In 2007, he joined the youth team Red Bull Salzburg .
On May 2, 2014, Laimer made his debut for Lifering , which is the Salzburger farm club [1] . Konrad held the first match in the Austrian Bundesliga on September 28, 2014, replacing Alan in the compensated time of the match with Rapid [2] .
According to the results of the 2014/15 season, Red Bull became the champion of Austria and the owner of the Cup . Conrad spent 8 championship games and 2 meetings for the cup, including a semifinal match with Gredig [3] . In the 2016/17 season, Laimer was recognized as the best player of the season in the Austrian Bundesliga. For the third time in a row, he helped his team win the championship and the Austrian Cup [4] .
On June 30, 2017 Laimer moved to the German club RB Leipzig , with which he signed a contract for four years [5] . Initially, the club considered him as an understudy for Nabi Keita in the center of midfield, but Konrad proved to be a universal player and at first played as a right-back [4] .

Laimer in the U-17 team took part in the qualification matches for the European Championship 2014 in Malta .
Conrad in 2014 played in the final of the Youth European Championship in Hungary . The midfielder played in all four matches of his team [6] [7] [8] [9] , which took 3rd place and received the right to speak at the World Youth Championship .
At the end of May 2015, Conrad was included in the application of the Austrians to participate in the world championship in New Zealand [10] . Laimer played in all four matches of his team at the tournament [11] [12] [13] [14] .
Since 2016, Laimer has been playing for the Austrian national team among players under 21 years old , is its captain [4] . In June 2017, Conrad was first called into the adult national team of Austria for a qualifying match for the World Cup with the Irish team . He spent this game in reserve [15] .
