Oxyscelio capilli (lat.) - a species of platygastroid riders from the subfamily Scelioninae ( Platygastridae , or Scelionidae , according to other classifications). Oriental area : Indonesia , Sulawesi island, North Sulawesi province, Bolaang-Mongondou county , Toraout village (the territory of Bogani National Park - Nani Wartabone ), 1000 m [1] .

Small hymenopteran insects: body length of females 3.6–4.95 mm. Antenna of females with a mace. It differs subparallel with the edges of the eyes by the keels of the cheeks. Metascutellum smooth and concave. The body is mostly black. Scape of antennae and legs yellowish or brown. Antennae 12-segmented. The mandibular palps consist of 4 segments, and the labial palps are 2-segmented. In the fore wing, the submarginal vein is distant from the margin and has a very short marginal vein. There is a characteristic frontal depression on the head. The species was first described in 2013 by the American entomologist Roger Barks ( Roger A. Burks , Department of Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology, The Ohio State University, Columbus , Ohio , USA ) [1] [2] .
