Description
Small hymenopteran insects: body length of females 3.75-3.8 mm. Antenna of females with a mace. It differs forehead without elevation between the bases of the antennae and eyes. Metascutellum smooth and concave. The body is mostly black. Scape and legs are yellowish. Antennae 12-segmented. The mandibular palps consist of 4 segments, and the labial palps are 2-segmented. In the fore wing, the submarginal vein is distant from the margin and has a very short marginal vein. There is a characteristic frontal depression on the head. The species was first described in 2013 by the American entomologist Roger Barks ( Roger A. Burks , Department of Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology, The Ohio State University, Columbus , Ohio , USA ) [1] [2] .
