XIX century

The village of Akatovka was founded in 1825 by immigrants from the villages and villages of Paryakino , Kuksikovo, Batrakovo and Akatovka of the Egoryevsk uyezd of the Ryazan province . The migrants received 15 acres per person and until the 1860s were listed as state peasants. The founder of the village was a native of the village Akatovka of the Ryazan province Semen Volkov. Subsequently, many residents of the village bore the surnames by origin of the settlements from which they were [1] .

Hatting was located 25 versts north of Tsaritsyn , 25 versts south of Dubovka , 6-8 versts from Pichugi and 2 versts north of the village of Vinovka [1] .

In 1858, 117 people lived in the village (53 men and 64 women) [1] .

In 1862, there were 15 courtyards in the villages, in which 104 people lived (51 men and 53 women), and 2 mills [1] .

In 1882, according to the Saratov Provincial District Council, 154 people (76 men and 78 women) lived in 29 yards in the village of Akatovka. In the possession of the inhabitants were: 23 horses, 74 bulls, 51 cows, 17 heifers, 45 calves, 191 sheep, 12 pigs and one goat [2] .

In 1890, 238 people lived in 32 yards (118 men and 120 women) [2] .

In 1894, 246 people already lived (122 men and 124 women), who owned 602 dessiatinas of land in two plots. Moreover, a larger area (470 acres) was located near the village, and a smaller area (132 tithes) was located near the village Gorodishche (25 versts) - they planned to build a farm there. At the same time, together with Pichuga Posad, the Akatovs owned the Bobrov Island on the Volga [2] .

Houses in the village were lined up along the Volga in one row and built of wood. There was a wine shop in Akatovka, which traded particularly well in the winter, when Dubovka - Tsaritsyn walked along the Volga toboggan run. Because of the smallness of the village, only the village headman was in it, but there was no village clerk and the whole village document circulation was administered in the Erzovsky parish board [2] .

XX century

By the decision of the executive committee of the Volgograd regional (rural) Council of deputies of workers of October 30, 1964 No. 30/439 “On the exclusion of some settlements of the Volgograd region” in the Dubovsky rural district, the Akatovka hamlet was excluded from the registration data as not actually existing, due to the resettlement of residents in the village of Erzovka Yerzovsky village council [3] .
