Starinki is a village located on the territory of the Borovsky Village Council in the Dzerzhinsky district of the Minsk region . Previously, it was the center of the Staryankovsky Village Council . The population of 163 people (2009) [1] .

Geography
The Old Towns are located 10 km northwest of the district center, the city of Dzerzhinsk and 42 km southwest of the center of Minsk . At the village begins the small river Samotech, the basin of the Usa (Ussy). In the village on the river is a small dam. The Dzerzhinsk- Velikoye Selo highway passes through Starinki.
History
In written sources, Starinki has been known since 1483 [2] . There was a courtyard, fish ponds, mills, two taverns.
March 10, 1552 mentioned in the deed of Nikolai Yurievich Radziwill , governors of Trotsky, the leaders of Lida, Visilischi and Belitsky, on the palace in the estate of the Old Man at the "boyars of the Gospodar" Stanislav and Mikhal Targoynev Andreyevich Zhidovichi. The deed was issued in Koidanov. Since 1588 - the center of the Old Town volost.
In the XIX century, in the Old Towns, at the expense of the local landowner Alexander Lensky, a Catholic church began to be built, which was consecrated in 1836 as a Uniate Church. In 1839, the church was transferred to the Orthodox Church. During the Great Patriotic War, it was destroyed and remains in a ruined state [3] .
In 1886, in the Old Towns, there were 48 courtyards, 480 inhabitants, there was a church, an elementary school, a distillery, and a water mill [2] .
In Soviet times, the village was the center of the Staryankov village council. Acted Starkovskiy rural House of Culture. The State Archive of the Minsk Region contains documents from 1930 to 1968 for the "Chervonaya Zorka" agricultural artel (collective farm) in the village of Starinki, the Starikovsky village council of Koidanovsky (from 05.1932 - Dzerzhinsky, from 07.1937 - Minsk, from 02.1939 - Dzerzhinsky), Minsk, from 01.1938 - Minsk area.
