Born July 19, 1949 in Sofia in the family of Ivan Karadochev, where she had a brother Boycho. [one]
She began her singing career at the age of 14. In 1965 she became a soloist of the Studio-5 team. She was a laureate of the first Red Carnation festival in 1967. In 1969 she won the main prize of the Golden Orpheus festival.
In the 1970s, Bogdana Karadocheva performed songs by such singers as Salvatore Adamo , Gilbert Beco , Cliff Richard , Charles Aznavour and Josephine Baker . Has toured to many countries of the world. In the 1980s, she married Stefan Dimitrov, with whom she recorded a number of songs; also sang in a duet with Vasil Naydenov . For her, the songs were written by composers Zornitsa Popova , Toncho Rusev, Nayden Andreev, Maurice Aladzhem, Alexander Yosifov and many others. Her songs were published in the Soviet magazine Horizon .
She was the winner of the best Bulgarian singer award for 1998. After 1999, Karadocheva worked as a television presenter.
