Kuznetsov, Vladimir Petrovich (linguist)

Vladimir Petrovich Kuznetsov (1936–2014) - researcher and journalist , dissident , author of the book of memoirs “The history of one company” (1995). The son of a Russian linguist Peter Kuznetsov .

Biography

Vladimir Kuznetsov was born in the family of Russian linguist, professor of Moscow State University Pyotr Kuznetsov in 1936 . In 1954 he became a student of the philological faculty of Moscow State University . He was one of the activists and creators in 1955 of the group of young poets and lovers of Russian poetry Sensus [1] , which included students of the Faculty of Philology. In November 1956, after the Hungarian uprising, he and another group member Andrei Teryokhin wrote and distributed a leaflet of protest content. In March 1957, Kuznetsov, together with Teryokhin, was arrested and convicted under article 58-10 for anti-Soviet agitation and propaganda, spent several years in Dubravlag , where he was a member of the Pyatirechye camp literary almanac [2] . In 1961 , returning to Moscow , Vladimir Kuznetsov began working in scientific institutions and was engaged in journalism. He was rehabilitated in 1994 .

The author of the memoirs “The History of One Company”, published in 1995 in one book, which were also printed in periodicals ( Tynianovsky collection . - Issue 10. - 1998; Issue 11. - 2002; New Literary Review . - No. 47. - 2001 . and etc.).
