Description
Their body length is 20 mm. Cheeks are very elongated. The front of the back, scutellum and first tergite of the abdomen in light yellow hairs. The second to fifth tergites of the abdomen in front in yellow hairs, their posterior edge, as well as the transverse band on the back between the bases of the wings in black or dark brown hairs.
Fertilized females overwinter. The family develops in one generation during the late spring and summer. The adults and the larvae fed by them in the nests feed on pollen and nectar of flowering plants, mainly with deep corollas of flowers.
Range
It is found in the south of Transbaikalia and the Primorsky Territory ; it is noted in the north of Mongolia, in Northeast and Central China, and in the north of the DPRK .

It is listed in the Red Book of Russia (category II - a declining species.)
